The Costume making and style specialist collaborates with clients to select clothing models, draw sketches, compile a wardrobe, understand fashion trends, and the basics of creating a visual image. They construct, model, cut, and manufacture various style garments suitable for individual wear or industrial production. They can work independently or in a team with other industry specialists in companies related to garment manufacturing and repair, and may also be self-employed or conduct individual commercial activities.
